I chose to have a gift card mailed to my daughter's friend because I was unable to attend her baby shower. There was a major screw-up with the delivery of the card and I had to contact my friend and her daughter several times to see if she had gotten it. It was actually delivered to the right address but in the wrong city! I got delivery notice, and then because I was lucky enough that the person who got the card was so HONEST and contacted Amazon that they had gotten the card in error, it was canceled. I then had to reorder the card and this time I sent it via email - not the easiest solution (needed to get an email address for the new Mom), but it worked. Amazon did do a good job of straightening out the mess, so it all worked out fine.
