After much extensive research, product reviews and a little stress my wife and i purchased this juicer. We started out juicing with the breville Juice fountain, I think it was, we were borrowing it from a friend. The "cheap and not wanting to waste any juice and getting as much as i can out of the produce" side of me realized that a centrifugal juicer was not for me. Also they wanted it back and I wanted my own. I knew about masticating juicers but I had never used one. So comes the day that we purchase this baby. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!
Comparing the two juicers I will say this one wins hands down. The breville sounded like a jet engine was screaming at you, whereas this thing is super quiet. We can still hear the music playing from the bluetooth speaker right next to us Photive HYDRA Waterproof Wireless Bluetooth Speaker. Rugged Shockproof and Waterproof Portable Wireless Speaker. This is a good thing since we do most of juicing later in the day and I don't want to bother the neighbors The pulp from the breville seemed very wet and still had a lot of juice to be... juiced. doing spinach and leafy greens would barely produce any juice and sometimes in the wastebasket we would find whole leaves untouched. This on the other hand is amazing at whatever you put in it and the pulp comes out dry. Well damp but not soggy like the other, grabbing a handful and wringing it out soggy. Cleaning the breville was easy but the pieces were big and bulky, and with a small kitchen it is prime real estate on the counter! This thing on the other hand is easy to clean and easy to assemble. One thing that i think the breville does excel in is the feed tube. This one is a little small. also if you are short on time it is a slower juicer than the breville, but the quality and shelf life of the juice is much better. What you lose in one you gain in another. We have been juicing every night for the next day usually one or two juices for two and sometimes three people. all the parts look like new and how it has cracked on some people is beyond me. maybe to much at once? Each piece is made of strong durable plastic.
All in all I am happy with my purchase and I will update as I start using it to do nut butters, sorbets, pasta and breadsticks. Buy this and you can't go wrong.
