Maybe this is a good product for using in the washing machine, but I needed it for hand washing in the hotel sink while traveling. The sheets do NOT dissolve well in warm water. I even put very hot tap water in a glass and then tore a sheet up in small pieces to help it dissolve.....still didn't completely dissolve after I stirred it briskly for a bit of time. Smelled okay and produces low suds. Ended up buying a small bottle of liquid detergent to use instead. If you are in a bind, it is better than nothing for hand washing.
