Yep, this is definitely black. Very, very black. And the bottles are custom designed to capture that black as you pour and deliver it back up the side of the bottle to your fingers. Seriously, I never could figure out how to pour a few drops without staining my hands for the next 2 days. If you use this stuff, do it over the sink. Maybe even outside. It will get EVERYWHERE.
