I recently moved to Florida. I wanted to check out the wild life here so got this binocular after a thorough research and review. My two criteria were inexpensive and good. This binocular met and exceeded both my criteria. Clear view: Looking through this binocular gives a clear and crisp view of what you are looking at. There is an alligator in a pond outside of our apartment, and for the first time through these binoculars, we saw the details on it's back. Amazing. Zoom: Calibrate the binocular as instructed. It makes a good difference, if you care. It has a really good zoom. Sky watch?: I wasn't expecting this, but I looked up the sky, and I could see a LOT more stars than I see with my naked eyes. It doesn't zoom into a planet or anything, but it gives you a clear view of the night sky. Moon is beautiful to see. Fast customer service.
Critical analysis: Instructions didn't mention that only one eye piece could move so I was trying to yank the other one thinking that it was stuck. I inquired and figured out that only one moves for calibration purposes. Good piece of information to put in the instruction. Leads to another point - its sturdy (just don't try to break it :) )
