Customer Review

I liked this book for it's spot on description of the signs and struggles that are dealt with on a daily basis. My son had ADHD and although, now an adult, he was not diagnosed until later in life. His school years were a nightmare. Unorganized, unfocused, forgetful, and continually talking non stop at the mos inappropriate times. His self esteem was further compromised by a yet another medical issue at the age of 7 that resulted in his inability to be involved in any physical activities . He was fragile for quite some time., His friends all moved up and on, however, his inability to communicate with them on an equal level, combined with his quirky habit of using his gift of incessant gab to try to fit in resulted in him being pretty much a loner. Bad decisions, and being oblivious to consequences became his demon.

I especially find your suggestions at the end of the chapters particularly clear and concise. Bad behavior and an inability for an individual to recognize his faults go hand in hand. Thank you for this most astute description of ADHD and all of its pitfalls. Mary Barner/mbarner70@yahoo,com
