I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 1 out of boredom, having no idea what to expect. That was a real hoot! Funny, a bit outrageous, scifi, wacky space opera, and delightful. Guardians 2 couldn't be better, right? Many sequels suck, but this one was a delight, with all the adjectives I used for #1 plus a few others: better effects, fully different story, but with the same 'team' (if you can call them that), a bit more backstory on some characters, and thoroughly engaging. If you liked Guardians 1, I'd be shocked if you didn't enjoy 2!
