This is a terrible NAS. I would not recommend it. WD is dropping support for many of the applications. Plex server occasionally stops working, this is not plex problem, more NAS problem. Then backup of the NAS to USB fails 90% of the time. Sometimes the server stops responding so doesn't appear on my network, so then I have to reboot the whole thing. Dropbox support has stopped. Time machine backup fails most of the time. If one user is using a file in a folder then another user can't simultaneously edit or delete other files from the same folder. This only happens on mac but windows is fine.

The WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra has been designed and optimized for small business use and includes advanced features such as the ability to join an Active Directory, Remote Access, RAID, Remote Backups, and support for 3rd party applications for expanded capabilities. It's important to know Wi-Fi, or Wireless networks share the available bandwidth among all connected devices on the wireless network. Additionally, the Wi-Fi network, in order to be backward compatible, can only be as fast as the slowest connected device. Please follow the links below for more information.
