This thing might deceptively look like an earlier ipod nano but no, its not so much of a pain in the ass to set up.
Here's the things i'll be looking at: 1: Setup 2: UI/Navigation 3: Soundquality
1: Setup: this is plug and play for windows and ubuntu so its all good 2.) The UI is not intuitive but is usuable and you'll get used to it after a while. UI Pro: ULTRA Utilitarian: drop music folders in, they'll get categorized (often incorrectly) and you can access artists
OR - my preference, to locate my folder that I posted a playlist in. This makes it easy to not have to keep your whole library in one spot and can add songs on the go.
If you want a dedicated mp3 player, despite the 3*** review, this would be the one I'd suggest because of the price to performance ratio. I'm sure some other of my issues could be solved.
