These are a nice size--they hold enough to facilitate buying bulk spices, but no so large that you fill them up and then have dull-tasting spices laying around. The glass is nice and thick. I dropped one on my hardwood floor and it didn't break. The lids fit snugly. I was pleasantly surprised with the labels. I have a reasonably wide variety of spices and found that there was a pre-printed label for 95% of the spices that I have. There are also blank ones for those oh-so-rare spices you keep on hand. I used all 48 and am going to re-up on this exact product to complete my spice drawer.
