We had a single burner for 8 years. We used it daily. However, it stopped working and we decided to replace it with a double unit. I was thrilled to find the same brand as our old one in the double size. Wow what a great purchase. You can get two large pans on it! The controls are awesome, since you can control by temperature or regular high, medium and low. There is also a great boil feature and a timer. This is a great purchase for us and we have been using it for several weeks.
