I bought this because WD makes good drives and appreciated the fact this came with drives installed. I was very disappointed with the software. What made me return this was the fact it took an extremely long time to upload files from my computer to my cloud. It was taking about an hour to upload one photo. At that rate, I might as well just stick with backing up my files on an external hard drive.

Best practice to check the performance of the My Cloud drive is by connecting it with a single host device and turning off any back up software which may be running in the background accessing the drive. It is also recommended running diagnostics on the drive to check the overall health.
