In case anyone else out there is wondering, this NAS is not powerful enough to function as a home media server. Would be great for someone who just needs a device on their network for passive backups and file storage, but do not buy this if you are hoping to use it to stream music and movies to other devices on your network. It is too slow. The EX2 Ultra looks nice and the hardware is well-designed, but it doesn't have enough power to do anything beyond basic file storage. Had to return it.
