Customer Review

It's been almost a year since I picked up this Green Pan set. Here are my thoughts after using them extensively:

Overall:
They're decent.. I had a really hard time deciding between a two or three star review. They will perform exactly as advertised when you first get them and for maybe 6 months after that if you're using them daily. Maybe more if used less frequently. Unfortunately, like many pans the non-stick coating is extremely prone to wearing off. If you're like me, you'll start to have issues with food sticking starting with your smallest pans and working up to the lesser used larger pots. This even while following the care instructions to a T, down to not cooking with sprays or extra virgin olive oil, keeping the temp low, and only washing with an ultra delicate non abrasive sponge. That's right, I bought the extra pricey olive oil meant specifically for sauteing and the pans still generate a stuck on layer of whatever I'm cooking.

Having said that, the magnitude of this problem is generally pretty small. Compared to other pots and pans I've owned, it is very easy to clean any stuck on food right off of these with a soft sponge.

One more issue is that the bottoms of these pans tend to discolor with use. I'd almost say it was rust if I weren't absolutely positive I hadn't dried these suckers immediately after washing them every time.

Pros:
Non-stick is great (for less than a year)
They're good looking, no doubt about it.
Very easy to clean
Handles conduct just about zero heat.

Cons:
Once that non-stick is gone, it's game over
Bottoms discolor on a gas stove with use
Ceramic chips off of pan edges with use
