So far these work very well. I've used (6) of the (8) sizes and all have remained sharp and have drilled clean holes in Bakelite, soft steel and 2024 and 6061 aluminum stock.
My drill press goes down to 180 rpm and using Tap Magic on steel or aluminum, these work as well as any drills I've used before. For drills of these diameters and quality level, a set of (8) bits at an average price of less then $3 each is remarkable and appreciated. The wood case is lined with some sort of plastic-foam, so let the drills cool down completely before returning them to the case.
I probably won't attempt to use these reduced-shank bits with a hand drill, but in a drill press they are more than acceptable and do a good job if used properly.
