I used a different Tidy Cats litter before this (with the red label), and I think it was a non lightweight variety. This stuff clumps a lot better than the prior litter we used, and I find that it's less dusty/I have less difficulty breathing when cleaning the box. However, it is a lot more lightweight than our prior litter, so my cat gets it EVERYWHERE when he's digging or covering up his mess, and I find that he tracks it through the house more, even with the little mat outside the box that's supposed to catch litter. I found litter stuck to our wall and sink when cleaning out the box, which has never happened before. It does a good job with keeping things smelling good, though; I hadn't changed the box in a while and it was full, but you couldn't tell it was a full box. So far, so good, but I'm not sure if I'd get it again, just because the mess is greater, but it has its pros and cons.
