We lost power with a recent snow and ice storm and I was not prepared. I had one of these lanterns and was carrying it around the apartment so I could see! I liked the lantern so much I went on Amazon, once we had power again, found my original purchase and bought two more at a great sale price. The next time my power goes out all three will efficiently light my apartment. They are light weight, take 2 DD batteries that are easy to install and light up a room! Highly recommend!
