Used these all over the UK and Ireland during a month-long trip. These performed flawlessly. The USB charge ports are very handy when you're traveling with multiple people all of whom have multiple devices (think phones, tablets, cameras, etc.). We stayed at a variety of places, including high-end hotels, not so high-end hotels, vacation rentals, B&Bs, etc., and in some you will find the USB chargers built in, and even at one hotel US-style plugs. However, you'll need these 95% of the time, and as such are a necessity for traveling in places with the Type G plug.
