I read this wonderful book cover to cover. Once I picked it up, I couldn't put it down. It is full of wonderful history about all types of fermentation and includes very simple recipes that anyone can make, using very simple materials and ingredients. Also wonderful explanations about the health benefits of various types of ferments in an easy-to-read format that you don't have to be a scientist to understand. I've just recently discovered fermenting and it's quickly become my new favorite hobby! I wanted to learn more about it, and how I could ferment more things. This book is outstanding! I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get into the wonderful world of fermenting.
