Have been using a battery powered table top tuner for almost 25 years, and wanted something to use live. Figured 25 years of technology would make this thing better than my cheap old tuner. Nothing wrong with my ST-8 at all... visibility good, everything else, but this thing is not very discrete.... the in-tune marker can indicate a wider spread of +/- frequency than I expected. My ear can hear several pitch changes before the bar indicates even one, I actually think I can tune by ear to this level of accuracy and not sure my guitars ever go out of tune that far live without me noticing... But hey, it's all about expectations again... I guess I need to spend a little more money for very fine tuning.
