First of all, I got this book because my Dr told me to!!! Secondly, the book is gorgeous! Photos are bomb, makes me excited and my new fave color is now green. I've tried two recipes so far - Beginner's Luck and Simple Strawberry and both were delicious! I LOVE the shopping lists because I hate wasting produce or having a bag of frozen mangos in my freezer for months. What I'm most excited about is the VARIETY!!! I used to make my own green smoothies, but got bored quick with just spinach and banana. I LOVE that this is dairy free!!!!! My husband and I are both slowly going dairy free and this gives us fun new recipes to try. (I cant wait to try the indulgent ones!) I'm mainly doing this to get more vegetables in my diet and to feel good. I'll report back in a few weeks with an update on that! The only thing I wish the book had was nutritional facts, HOWEVER, the point is to not count calories and just make being healthy SIMPLE. So... I get why the nutritional facts aren't on there. The recipes are so simple, it's not hard to calculate myself (that's why I still said 5 stars!)
Update: Today I made Kalifornia Sunshine and forced my husband to try it. He is very picky with food, but loved it!! He wanted me to make him one even!! 😂
