I heard a lot about this film over the years, but hadn't seen it until now. It's okay, but is somewhat slow moving. The plot revolves around stolen funds from the second world war meant for the French resistance. Hepburn plays the innocent exwife caught up in a plot by disloyal servicemen out to claim the lost funds, and one of them is a traitor to his traitorous troop.
It's not a bad film, but it's more of a romantic film with moments of espionage and criminal thriller thrown in to keep the story moving forward. Otherwise, to be honest, you could have removed the plot and just replaced it with a sappy love story and the film would have worked either way. Oh well.
It's decent enough for a night's viewing. Check it out and see what you think, but if you find yourself losing interest, then just move onto another film.
