The plastic handle also has formed blisters from the heat on the underside of the handles. Seems like a bad quality defective product.
The lid is very hard to close and needs some strength to close every time. Although the food gets cooked fine the cheap plastic in the handles gives off a bad and pungent smell that lingers a long time even after switching off.

Difficult to close Cheap plastic
