The night-light works perfectly. However, to use as a tool/signal to identify when it's okay for your child to head on out of their room -- the time must always be the same day after day or you must know the time the day prior.
I wish I would have known that was how this 'Ok to Wake' child tool worked prior to purchase. I would have looked at the other 'Ok to Wake' alarm clocks instead. Without being able to actually set times - it isn't convenient for flexibility. Many days are set to a schedule and can work with the Owl's unique one-time set feature... but life should include flexibility.
