While electronica isn't my favorite genre, I do listen to a few albums to find that one album that blows me away. Dark Model is that album. Somehow, without a single word, you can find an obvious story within the album. It begins very rapidly, with an agressively classical song that sounds a lot like an intro song to a theatrical show. From there, we move through the various song styles. Images of battles and long lost loves danced through my head as each song took its turn.
I can't say that this has made me a fan of electronica, but it has definitely made me a fan of Tatsuya Oe. I can't wait to hear more from him.
