Customer Review

I was new to Revit and looked for some reference material. This book IS NOT for beginners. It assumes you know how to use Revit to start with, and then goes down hill. It seems like many steps are skipped when explaining things.

The book also "explains" how to do things, but does not show by example. There are very few step-by-step examples in the book, where you do things by going through a list of instructions. Fow folks that are new to modeling, some of the terminology and location of the commands is confusing and unclear.

If you're new, this is NOT the book. After having this book for several months it (and finally giving up on thinking it could be useful) it seems to "describe" or "explain" things, rather than actually demonstrating with examples.

I guess the word shallow, used by other reviewers, is very precise.

Keep hunting for a better book.
