  This backpack was used last weekend for an Ensenada excursion. It is larger than it looks, but light weight and easy on and off. The straps have this meshy fabric that clings to your clothing so it doesn’t slip off your shoulder. (I’m not sure how it would feel on bare skin..)
  My only dislike is that the side pockets wouldn’t hold a water bottle, I’m not sure if it’s because of the items I had on the backpack or if because the pockets are wide and not deep. I also wasn’t comfortable leaving my cell phone in the side pocket as it did t seem secure and snug. BUT. The inside pocket was big enough for all the important things. Passport, money, and my phone for easy access, but not easy for pick pockets to get to.
  I love the color and the easy way it folds back up into just a square “pillow” when not in use. Easy to pack. I would buy this product again, even tho I’m not loving the side pocket situation.
