I expected a typical possession story with a few new things thrown in, and man was I wrong! This book actually surprised me, which isn't easy considering I read A LOT, and watch A LOT of movies (probably more horror than anything else). It was well written and well paced, and I found the blog entry sections very funny and entertaining and saw them as a bit of a breather. The breather is necessary because of the tension in the rest of the story. This story is about tragedy and dealing with it, it's about family, it's about reality TV, it's about religion, it's about mental illness; there are so many ways to interpret the ending and I've also really enjoyed reading reviews and seeing how other people feel about that ending. This is another I'll love re-reading because there's a lot of unpack. 5/5 stars for me!
