  Needed a lighter weight, portable alternative to my Nikon Monarch 5 and came across this. It’s super easy to handle, can easily hold one handed and focus. In bright light it has very sharp focus and in dimmer light it’s respectable. The focusing is smooth and responsive and image comes into focus easily. Optics of course don’t compare to the Nikon, but it is much easier to handle with less bulk and much lighter weight. So it’s good for what it is. I preferred it over the Occer 12x25 which didn’t seem as sharp.
