It isn’t magic - it just helps pack it all in better than without a mold. It is cheap material and any rough handling would break the mold. I’m not suggesting that I’m a sushi man handler, but this isn’t rugged stuff is all. Would I recommend it? I mean if you don’t care about cheap quality and imperfect rolls, go for it. Would I buy it again? I would not. I guess I got what I paid for.
