Customer Review

Where to begin? Anywhere will do, since there's not a minute of the movie without bad acting, impossible plot twists, unbelievable or totally absent motivation, and confused tone. This material should have been given to someone like Blake Edwards, who could have made a passable "Pillow Talk" type movie, or even an Inspector Cluzot farce. Cary Grant mopes around mouthing his lines as if he's about to fall asleep from boredom. Grace Kelly is just plain awful, awful, awful. The movie's only redeeming feature is some pretty shots of the south of France as it used to be. I'm ashamed of myself for even bothering to review it, but even more ashamed of having watched it all the way through.
