This album is a must in any Brazilian Bossa Nova collection. Lennie Dale was an american genius who lived in Rio de Janeiro for several years and fall in love with the Brazilian music and the Bossa Nova in particular. Listenning to Lennie Dale sing samba and jazz bossa nova with his strong american accent is absolutely amazing! This was Lennie Dale's first album, a live recording. During this show Lennie Dale proved he was not only a great dancer but also an excellent singer. This album is very rare and usually found only in Japanese releases. I gave it only five stars because I could not give it more. I recommend you to look for his other two albums too. 1) Lennie Dale with the Sambalanco Trio, his second album; and 2) Lennie Dale with the Trio 3-D, his third and last album. The first two are extremely difficult to find. I bought my copies in Tokio. The third, to my knowledge, has never been released in CD format.
