Had one of these that I'd had for a number of years that cracked. This one fits my wide mouth canning quart jar though it does screw on tough like it isn't quite threaded perfectly. I worry that I may crack this one if I force it too hard. It works better than cheese cloth and drains water well. Have tried a couple different jars to see if for some reason the jar is a dud. May look into the stainless steel model though more expensive.
