What is this? One of the greatest SYNTHPOP albums ever recorded... Not quite... What is this? DREAMPOP? What on earth might that be? Well, whatever that is, the chiming guitars, ethereal vocals, eerie atmospheres, and melodies... lots of melodies... yield one of the best albums to emerge from the 1980s, yet, so appealing, so strange, that we must distance ourselves from such beauty... and truth.
