A much needed improvement from my old, dented aluminum loaf pan, which I think once belonged to my mother, so that sad pan has been around since the 60's or earlier. Make sure you wash it before using it. There was some sort of residue, probably seasoning, on mine. Also, you might want to adjust your oven... maybe set it about 10-15 degrees lower. While the first loaf I baked in it didn't burn, it was a little more done on the bottom than I prefer. Still, I think it's an excellent pan and a good value.
