I really like the concept of these camera cases. Like a couple other reviews that I read, I also drilled small holes on the bottom in order to expose the speaker of the camera a little better as there were no existing openings there. That hack has worked great.
I was also having a hard time removing the front faceplate cover to where you would be able access the camera. I need to be able to access the camera in order to change batteries eventually. I had to place a piece of twine behind the front faceplate and have the twine hang outside the housing to make a type of pull handle to get the face plate off in the future. I don’t see any other (easier) way to be able to remove it. Not pretty, but not too noticeable either.
So there are a few design flaws but I made them work and the cases seem sturdy enough so far.
