I bought them due to wanting a pair of docs and needed a good pair of work boots I never owned docs and I never owned a vegan boot. The reason I got vegan was because at least at the time they were cheaper and not because of some moral obligation to the animals. I didn’t find the soles comfortable but I have a weird foot so that’s not out of the ordinary with any shoe or boot. so I bought a pair of inserts and never looked back. They were my everyday wear in a factory that I worked at for years and a pair of shoes or boots never made it more than 3 months. I work with corrosive chemicals that end up on the floor and generally it weakens the soles rather quickly and then walking in the concrete floor does the rest of job destroying them. Not these boots! As you can see the bottoms are wore down but that’s after essentially 3 years. The boots are worth the money. They are within reason Watertight and provide great ankle support. I’ve literally stood In a river with water coming up about half way up the boot and my feet didn’t get wet and that was less than a year ago. They have recently started to let water in so I had to retire them but they are the best boots I’ve ever owned and I recommend them to anyone.
