I've been taking collagen for about six months now because I originally wanted to improve my skin and hair condition. However, I found that it also helps with my bursitis. It isn't a pain reliever per se, but like glucosamine it helps reduce the frequency of flare ups by helping my joints to be a bit more resilient.
So far, this has been my favorite brand. It's very similar to gummies and powder in that it's highly digestible. But gummies get old fast, and the powder form can be kind of messy and redundant, as well. This is the best encapsulated form I've tried so far.
