Preparing for our first overseas trip we faced the usual questions. The UK doesn't have the same power as the US. For us, it didn't matter. All our electronics and devices automatically adapted to the UK power source (iphone, Pixel). All we needed was this plug adapter. The USB adapter was awesome when needed. Many of our more modern hotels had plugins with USB power ports. But when we were in older accommodations, this adapter is essential, not only for converting your US power plugs but providing extra USB charging ports. This is not a power converter, but we didn't need one.
