You can’t get any simpler than this. You plug it in, you put the mug on the surface, you switch it on. But I would like it to be a teeny bit more complicated.
I chose this mug warmer because the heating surface was recessed. That way there is a good chance that you will not absent-mindedly catch your finger on the hot surface. But since there are very few square mugs, why not restrict the hot surface to a circle?
The temperature it keeps my tea at is ok … but it could be better. I would have liked a choice of temperatures. I don’t see how everyone can like exactly the same setting.
So this works and its simple. It will do a good job for you. But I am sure I can find another one that suits me better.
