I was not a big fan of quinoa before getting Viva Naturals Royal quinoa. Now I like quinoa. Although the Viva quinoa is prewashed, I've found that further washing doesn't hurt. As shown in the third photo (attached), right out of the bag, the water is frothy. I'm not sure if frothy is fine for some people, but I wash the Viva quinoa thoroughly until the water runs super clear. And then I wash it some more. I use an OXO Good Grips quinoa colander to wash the quinoa. I find the OXO colander to be indispensable for this purpose. It's a rare product that's much better than you would expect.
