Instantly enjoyable, this is one of those great albums everybody likes. SAM COOKE invented what we once called Soul. This is his penultimate album. Before he died too young, he recorded this "throw-away" album in an era of 45s and it is a masterpiece. There does not seem to be an uninteresting or low-rent SAM COOKE recording. I wanna hear any low rent, but I find everything is great!! This might be his GREATEST.
