This is one of the finest small appliances I have ever purchased. We take our kitchen very seriously and shop carefully for usually deluxe products, regardless of cost. I have a dedicated coffee grinder, but use this for herbs and small jobs that aren't worth using a food processor. The unit comes with two sealed units, each with different blades and it can be used for coffee, herbs, even small onions. It is powerful! Each unit is self-contained and designed to twist out and be cleaned without exposing the electric base to water. GREAT PRODUCT
