I bought this last minute, a few days before our trip to Disneyland, when I checked the weather and saw that it would be raining a majority of the time that we were there. I saw that some reviews said it wasn't completely waterproof, but we got POURED on and my clothes underneath never got wet. It definitely kept me dry! It's mesh lined (not fleece lined), so if it is cold out, I'd definitely recommend wearing a long sleeve underneath if you want to stay warmer. My only complaint is that its difficult to fold the hood back into the pocket without it looking/feeling too bulky, but I also haven't spent much time trying to make it fit better, anyways. I would definitely recommend this.
