I bought these boots for my son this year, he had been begging for a pair for quite some time. I owned a couple pair of these when I was a teenager, they were awesome, comfortable, and lasted forever. So when my son wanted a pair I had no hesitations, I knew they would be a little on the expensive side but I was ok with that because I remembered the quality/ comfort/ durability of yester year. I didn't read into the product description much, just found the pair that best matched what he wanted and bought them. I guess I'm not totally up to date with all the latest trends etc. and it is totally my fault for not reading into the description more but when they showed up and weren't made of leather I was a bit upset. I didn't notice the "Vegan" description and admittedly even if I did I wouldn't have known what it meant until I read the tags etc. that arrived with the boots. I really hope the durability/ comfort of the boots are not affected by them not being leather, only time will tell.
