When I purchased these shorts I wasn’t expecting my mind to be blown, and it wasn't. I sized down one to a small for a more compression-like fit (5'6", 155 lbs) however they aren’t as compression as I’d prefer, especially the navy blue color. They are very high waisted, sit above my belly button, and the waist band is double lined - I assume for more tummy control, which works fairly well. They don't move/fall when I run, but what I do notice the most is that the fabric doesn't breath at all - they run pretty hot. Otherwise, they're fine and serve their purpose.
