I have had this for 15 months now. Although I don't use it daily, I use it from time to time for deep frying & cooking gravies or curries. This pan is NOT non stick & therefore food sticks if I am not being careful. The size is good for cooking an adequate amount of food. I've always hand washed it (as instructed) & it cleans nicely. I have never used any metal utensil & haven't noticed any scratch yet.
