I love this backpack design and bought it to use for school. Since Anello seemed to be the OG brand when it comes to this kind of backpack, I specifically wanted to buy theirs. I'm aware that there are many fake Anellos, so I did a little research and chose this seller, since it seemed legit. When the backpack came, I was so excited. Everything looked great, and I felt sure that this was really Anello. HOWEVER, after a few months, the quality made me suspicious. I'm actually hoping this is a fake Anello rather than Anello backpacks actually having this kind of quality. Sure, the backpack is still in one piece, and it looks alright from afar, but upon closer inspection, it's not looking too good.
The canvas fabric is very papery, I repeat, VERY papery, which results in a lot of ugly creases all over the backpack. There are many strings sticking out everywhere (not an exaggeration), and the straps have the worst creases and folds; the kind of folds that form sharp corners that start to fray. The lining and everything else is great, but the fabric choice for the exterior is a total deal breaker.
I'll still use the backpack since I already have it. I'm still in love with the design of the backpack, but I'll be using other options when I need to be in more presentable settings (aka at school in front of judgmental classmates). At least school is at home now.
