This was my first time replacing my filter and it was super easy! The filter came with a flushing assembly and instructions which were clear and easy to follow; the whole process just took a few minutes (including flushing the filter). My old filter had slowed down a bit since it was at the end of its life so I was pretty delighted/impressed by how fast the new filter did its job. It was amaaazing!
The new filters don't need the wrench anymore, which I didn't realize until I went to attach the new filter. It was pretty easy to screw on, once I aligned everything properly.
One thing I love generally is how this filter attaches to the pitcher set up. It always drove me crazy how other brands' filters fall out of place when you use the pitcher. No worries here!
tl;dr--super easy process to swap out your old filter for a new one, and you're set for another 5-6 months
