I love this sushi kit. Great for beginner like me. The value is great. I made vegan sushi for my wife and she loved it. The key to make a sushi roll is to buy the right rice. I bought Koshihikari rice, which is a very short grain rice. Wash the rice with cold water in a bowl by sturing then drain or use a colander. Do this about three times until water is clear. This allows excess starch to be removed. I cook it in a rice cooker its easy that way. The ratio is 1:1. For instance one cup rice one cup water. Once cooked I add a half teaspoon of sushi seasoning liquid to rice and stir. Leave for 5 min to set. Then evenly spread rice over Nori. Add what you want to center of roll. Roll it firmly. Cut and serve.
